POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE:		Tower Rigger
POSITION SUMMARY:		1.) Must be able to climb communications towers and work efficiently at heights up to 500 feet;
		2.) be familiar with all facets of tower erection, including self-supports, guyed, and monopoles;
		3.) be able to operate a winch or CAT Head to hoist materials into place; to install antenna systems, including cabling and different types of connectors; to install lighting packages; to conduct antenna sweeps with a Wilton site master or Hewlett-Packard network analyzer; and to read and understand a scope of work, drawings, and schematics;
		4.) possess basic computer skills to enter data on construction status;
		5.) be aware of safe job procedures in climbing and working on a tower;
		6.) wear a safety harness with two (2) lanyards at all times while on a tower;
